Several postdoctoral positions are available to conduct research on:

1. regulation of post-transcriptional processes in cells infected by animal viruses.
2. mechanisms by which viruses exploit the cellular gene expression machinery to promote the selective expression of viral genes.
3. the mechanism by which the influenza virus polymerase is activated by specific RNA sequences.
4. new approaches for the development of more effective antivirals directed against influenza virus.
